About
Hi, I’m Megan E. Long,
An artist, teacher, and hobby farmer living in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
I create from my home studio at Long Acres, where I live with my husband, our two boys, and our many animals. My artwork is inspired by the beauty of British Columbia, farm life, flowers, animals, family, and the simple everyday moments that make life meaningful.
I enjoy working in a variety of styles and subjects, from colourful landscapes and nature-inspired paintings to custom portraits of families, pets, homes, and special places. Much of my work begins with a photograph, memory, or moment that I want to preserve through art.
When I’m not painting or teaching, I can usually be found spending time with my family, caring for our animals, working around the farm, or finding inspiration in the landscapes around us.
My goal is to create art that feels joyful, personal, and connected to the people and places we love.
